Lachlan Dow
I grew up in Canberra, Australia, where I completed my BSc. with majors in biology and chemistry. I quickly gravitated towards natural products chemistry and plant science, as these topics combined my love of the natural world as well as laboratory research. I moved from Australia to Germany to study aquatic microbiology as a postgraduate student. After completing my doctoral work in Germany in 2019 I returned to Australia, and returned to terrestrial microbiological research (in which I had not been involved since my honours thesis).
